The most vile and insidious obstruction to America’s forward movement over the last few decades is how certain forces have convinced millions of Americans that expecting and accepting less, even to the point of their desperation and death, is somehow the patriotic thing to do.

I read that 50 MTA workers in NYC have died from CV19, (NYT) yet they still work. The mentality is similar to sending 19 yr olds to the front line with a message that they are the most brave, and will die in glory; yet I haven’t seen stories of valor about them.
