Matriarchal tenets include men. Patriarchal tenets tend to exclude women. She doesn’t have to explain herself, and I’m not attempting to speak for her.

The headline/tweet didn’t say those countries are doing well BECAUSE they were run by women. It just says that they are.

It’s just an observation abt 2 nations not an opinion about all women. If every nation ran by a female leader happened to do empirically better in COVID-19 recovery than male lead nations, we’d have a study. I can’t imagine Theresa May holding a candle to Merkel or Ardern tbh.
