You raised your hand when asked about giving free healthcare to illegal immigrants. Milton Friedman stated "you cannot have open borders and a welfare state." Just admit it: you, like everybody else onstage who asked that question, were too afraid to stand for common sense.
Right now, with the coronavirus, you would have healthcare denied to people because they’re not “legal?” The virus obviously does not care. So you would prefer that people be out and about spreading the virus, but you would call that common sense?
That I “would have healthcare denied people blah blah blah” is an emotionally manipulative lie. You advocated for an insane system which it is well evident would be unsuccessful at providing healthcare and destructively overburden a debatably working system.
(1)Bringing in foreigners with unconditional access to free resources taken from the local population through forced taxation (yes, all taxation is forced) is NOT humanitarian. Forcing people to give money or else face imprisonment for “tax evasion” is not a fundamentally loving
(2)I question this notion 'giving to the poor' I argue goes against ACIM's thought system because it makes the mistake of seeing people as fundamentally “poor” and making their poverty real.
