Trump’s win was shocking but not surprising to anyone really looking. People felt legitimate economic rage; they knew the system was rigged against them.Trump named that rage & so did Bernie. Someone who refused to even name their pain had no chance in ‘16, nor will they in 2020.

More than that people were tired of politicians looking our for themselves, no offense intended. Many voted for Obama for the same reason to shake up government and change statues quo.
And yet he didn’t, really. That was the problem.

In my humble opinion the 2 party system has failed. There has to be a better way. If we were to choose people to represent us from something like the jury list. People are selected, spend 2 yrs in Washington or state capitol, then go home. No special pay, no retirement special.

Obama had made some changes, some things done were disappointing. Trump shakes the he'll out of everything. My hope is people see it's not only politicians that can be good for our country. People like yourself are hard to find. The machine has a tendency to eat them up.
