Why should we take abuse from a president that our ancestors wouldn't take from a king?

I agree, but there's a real problem. Since 1968 less than 60% of eligible adults voted in Presidential elections. Younger voters voted less than 50%. Those who don't vote in a Democracy cause it to fail.

I agree. Voter suppression is rampant and vote rigging is occurring according to the UN exit poll numbers. A massive change in consciousness and a huge voter turnout is needed.

But not voting for and not supporting Progressive candidates at local state and Federal levels guarantees the current system will continue. Opting out hurts, it doesn't help

I hope we can. Trump's polling numbers are going up. I fear that Trump's daily visibility (despite his dangerous misinformation and absence of leadership) will get him reelected.

Those in recent history who were most effective in causing real social change like Ghandi, MLK and Mandela recognized that non-violence worked best. The pandemic has also shown everyone how our economy actually depends on working people. So, what's our next step?
