The issue isn't that our economic system is immoral; it's that it's amoral. And amoral behavior leads to immoral consequences. It's not enough to not wish people harm; we have to wish people well. We have to be willing to help. Love is proactive & practical, or it's just a word.

Lacking or being prohibited from better options. People are terrified and irrational right now and will impulsively acquiesce to decrease their anxiety, unable to maintain dedication to better options for fear of being crushed.
