I respect her conviction, but would she prefer they do nothing at all? Dems are not in power, so this is how it works. Should they have voted against it and gotten something worse?
I don’t think she’s saying that. She’s pointing out that she and others like her should never have been put in a position where the only way to rescue the majority of Americans was by giving a huge unearned gift to a tiny few. It’s immoral. Thus her continuing to cry “Shame!”

OK, what was the alternative at that point? Help some or help none, because that was the choice.

This relief bill will not be the last during this pandemic. I think she hopes that in the near future her colleagues can do better for the American people.
