This pandemic could have been anything. It could have been a bio-weaponry disaster or nuclear disaster or weather disaster or food disaster. When this is over, we must change our national priorities from short term gain for a few to the long-term well-being of everyone.

Disaster capitalism is our planetary threat. We need laws against betting on and profiting from chaos.
Many of those laws existed and have been whittled down over the last few years.
