I've been wondering why we can't behave like this every day. There's some crisis in the world every day. We could force people to not price gouge and hoard every day.
So much talk about how we have to love each other in order to survive the tragedy. Yet when loving each other is proposed in order to prevent such tragedies to begin with, it’s too often met with cynicism or derision as though an unintelligent suggestion. Perhaps that will change

That’s the point now. If all we do is treat the problem but not its underlying cause, then a fundamental course-correction will not occur and another symptom will ultimately rise.

Love WOULD have CONTAINED the virus. Love=China alerting the world immediately. Love=all leaders ensuring the production & distribution of a supply of masks, tests & ventilators. Love= people staying in not because they have to but because they want to for the safety of everyone

Whatever lessons we take from this, we need to each MAKE THEM OUR OWN. Preserve them & carry them forth even after order has been restored. Share them w/loved ones & encourage them to own & cultivate what THEY have learned, as well. In this way there is no going back to what was.
