Meanwhile- it has been Trump who has been saying (since way before his presidency) that we have to bring jobs back to America. The majority of his campaign was based on it.His signature economic policy was the 2017 $2 trillion tax cut in which $.83 of every dollar went to the richest corporations & individuals. While the middle class part of it was good, 83% of it only served the very wealthiest and in no way trickles down. That’s how he operates.

Correct me if I’m wrong but that program what to incentivize cash that was overseas to be repatriated. It was sitting in off shore tax havens. He created a tax cut to bring it home. How is that worse then no taxes at all?

It did not. He used that as an excuse but there’s no way he really thought that it would.
