FDR didn’t just pull us out of the Depression. He fundamentally altered economic/banking/political rules so it wouldn’t happen again. Several decades ago we started dismantling some of the very protections that FDR created, so crony capitalists could party more. And here we are.

@marwilliamson this is off topic but can you please share some resources for meditation/mindfulness for our littles? We have a 3 and 5 yr olds. Would like to take this opportunity of being forced to slow down to create some good habits.
That would be Mommy! At that age their primary spiritual teacher is you. You know what to do. They are so amenable at that age. Also, I wrote a book called “Emma and mommy talk to God”
