There are doctors and nurses all over the world who are risking their lives to help people right now. Let’s pray for their safety and protection, and for all those who have been afflicted.(Those with an obsessive need to mock all things spiritual really do need to back off now.)

I get what you’re saying and you’re right, but I don’t think anyone is suggesting we don’t act as well. Just as an example, Marianne has been part of both since the AIDS crisis - bringing people food and helping them access medication as well as doing spiritual stuff.
I’m tired of saying for the gazillionth the time that I’m not an anti-vaxxer, but the reason I’m responding is even more than that. How dare you say I have called for cuts to the CDC? Particularly at a time like this, lying about people is despicable.

As a lesbian I take ENORMOUS offence to you comparing Mike Pence, who advocates for conversion therapy, and Marianne, who fought for the LGBTQ+ community and treated us with compassion back when very few did. She’s made a few comments that I don’t agree with, but come on.
