it's actually capitalism that restricts individual freedom, through state power, violence, economic inequality and worker alienation

Not all capitalism does that. It is as unbalanced to demonize all capitalism as it is unbalanced to demonize all socialism. We have become way too sloppy with this conversation.

Socialism regards the collective ownership of the means of production. In terms of the police and fire, we don’t collectively own the means of the production but communally reap the benefits.

Post Office & DMV are also examples of Govt's inability to compete with provate sector.

Unlike private sector, the Post Office is constitutionally mandated to provide the same service to all Americans, regardless of how few people might live in a given zip code.

Please tell Bernie to listen to
@KyleKulinski ‘s strategy on how to win. This is life and death for us and him continuing to use the same losing strategy or “Joe if my friend” and “yes joe can beat trump” and “yes if joe becomes nominee I will help him win” is frustrating to usThanks. "...police and fire dept are essentially socialist..." I view these as social services supported by a capitalist economy, not *socialism*.

If government bails out private companies with tax payer money - any private company- Corporate Socialism is a good name for it. Economically viable companies in a Capitalist system wouldn't need state bail outs. It's the transference of financial risk from private to public.
