The point isn’t just to elect a woman per se as important as that is. The most important thing is a woman’s primary concerns: to protect children- which must mean everyone’s child & not just our own; and take care of our home- which today means the home we share, or earth itself.

This is called maternal feminism. Unfortunately corporate feminism is all many folks know. Maternal/child concerns were marginalised in the 50s and still are. MW’s take is not about keeping us in the kitchen, it’s about shifting the centre of gravity re our values as a collective
