A lot of misogyny is unconscious. Some of the most vicious misogeny is from women towards other women. One insidious form of it is “selective feminism” - a theoretical support of other women that really only applies to women that we like.

But women are people. Do we support someone just because they are female? I did not agree with Warren's policies or her excuses for why people didn't vote for her. I think a lot of people were hoping that she would be the stronger candidate. She wasn't. Am I a misogynist?

@Jeannebarr54 I think to support women just or only because they are women, is unfair to women. And maybe "support" is not the correct term. I can "support" women... and even rally on their behalf for their efforts.. but politically, I will choose on policy1 reply 0 retweets 17 likes
