So if I’m a homeless person today, my pain doesn’t matter as much because I’m in a smaller group than existed during the Great Depression? That makes no sense. Perhaps read my original tweet again. I did not compare the size of the groups. I compared the pain of the people.

Bernie is the one who mentions FDR; I pointed out why. I don’t think he or I lack historical perspective. It’s like we’re going around these days pretending hunger and poverty do not exist here and they do!
