The most evolved contemporary society has elements of both capitalism & socialism, in approportionate relationship that protects both individual freedom & care for the common good. This shouldn’t be either/or but rather both/and. It’s not a binary choice in theory or in practice.

My Democratic friends do not hate America, any more than your Republican friends hate Americans. We need to drop those ridiculous stereotypes.

Agree with you on stereotypes. Explain who is rioting in the streets disclaiming the country and elected President. I strongly disagreed with many of President Obama policies and actions on multiple levels but I respected he had been elected and it was his time in office.
