Collectivized hatred aroused by fear of the “other” is one of the most dangerous forces on the planet & has been throughout history. Only force powerful enough to override it is collectivized love. Gandhi & MLK took love beyond the personal to the political; now we need to too.

Sanders’ plans are hyped as socialism, but it’s pretty standard mixed market stuff that is popular in high standard of living countries that often rank higher in happiness, health, and wellbeing indexes. I think a few things go too far, but still.
I agree with Scott. And Democratic socialism is NOT communism. That ridiculous caricature needs to be challenged every time it appears. And shame on Tom Steyer for saying on the debate stage that Bernie stands for a govt takeover of the private sector. He absolutely knows better.
