.@ewarren is very strong on children tonight at her CNN Town Hall. She wants her 2% wealth tax to go towards helping children; I agree with her entirely. It’s among America’s most urgent domestic problems and she gets that.

Aren't you friends with Andrew? He's demonstrated that wealth tax will have implementation issues and won't raise as much as a VAT. Wealth tax should be looked into, but as supplement to revenue from VAT rather than as a mythical panacea on its own. Learn from other countries.

That tweet was much more about 'helping children in need' than 'wealth tax Vs VAT'. I am
#YangGang and an agnostic but I find@marwilliamson more reasonable than most people. She's now in my top 4 favourite candidates ... Yang, Tulsi, Bernie, Williamson.

We already have those- they don't work and don't pay the people who work. We don't need new socialized ANYTHING- Our swamp of a government is incapable of supplying it. The money goes into the same congress establishment and never gets used for it's purpose.

That's just crazy!

That should all be done at the local level, not via federal tax.

The free market would do all of those things more efficiently and at lower costs. Theres laws to prevent businesses from competing with government services. For example letters can only be delivered via USPS (with few costly exceptions.)

Private schools exist. Also the Federal Reserve printing money causes rapid inflation. Pair that with guaranteed student loans backed by the government and you get skyrocketing tuition.

Way to not respond substantively to

It's kinda scary how ignorant some people are Marianne. This isnt difficult stuff to figure out but some people just stay in their bubbles.

You assume that I have never worked for the government.
