It is not that Congress puts corporations before people. It is that Congress puts themselves before the people.
And they put themselves before the people BY putting obeisance to the will of their corporate donors before advocacy for the people. So it's the same thing.

Sounds like we agree, Marianne. The ones to blame are the ones with their hands out—they are for sale to the highest bidder, and their disregard for the citizenry is why the disgrace we have today resides in the WH.
