Kudos! “The suite of proposals would initiate tighter scrutiny of U.S. support to countries that commit abuses and transfer $5 billion in wartime funding to a new Global Peacebuilding Fund.” Exactly the direction I’ve been talking about for the last year.https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5e434269c5b61f8ad4e0af13 …

5 BILLION DOLLARS to a 'global peacebuilding fund'? HELL NO, sounds like a scam. So many better uses for that money here in America.

Humanitarian aid and development are NOT a scam. They are to war what nutrition and exercise are to sickness: preventative measures that keep disease and dysfunction at bay.

Over the years the US has sent trillions of dollars to countries for 'humanitarian aid' but it's just ended up in the pockets of oligarchs and corrupt politicians. Humanitarian aid is good but we all know the money actually helps very few people.
