Over the years the US has sent trillions of dollars to countries for 'humanitarian aid' but it's just ended up in the pockets of oligarchs and corrupt politicians. Humanitarian aid is good but we all know the money actually helps very few people.

Humanitarian aid and development delivered through the larger and better Christian agencies DO work, through the UN and Red Cross - not so much. I am a Christian missionary and over the last 40 years have worked on numerous such projects.
