The Irish had it bad. But they were never property. They were not bought and sold. They were not systematically separated from their families. Many were indentured servants, but could eventually buy out their contacts. Not the case with slaves. BTW I’m an Irishman.

I so much agree Marianne. Reparations are well overdue with interest. Politicians are in perpetual denial. Your proposals and education on the subject have opened my eyes and heart to the atrocities we must face so they can stop.

I don't want that money. I've erased that ancestral energy from within myself. I was never a slave. my wife is white and her family immigrated here from Denmark in the early 1900s they never owned slaves. Just drop it
