Hating the haters just makes you a hater. I was always impressed by FDR’s name for the Nazis: “those unworthy men.” We can do what we do out of love for our country, not personal hate for anyone. It makes a difference in the tenor of a movement & how it comes across to the world.

I am not hating. I am ANGRY. Not all anger is bad. Our planet, not just our country, are at a crossroads. I don't think those "unworthy" want to hold hands with us and move in the direction of love. We do what we need to do this time.
I agree with that. Moral outrage isn’t born of anger, it’s born of love. Love doesn’t make us less sophisticated in our political understanding. It doesn’t mean we’re less intelligent. At times though it means we’re more strategic.

The best strategy is to shift the balance of power. Why is no one on the left talking about Convention of States? The right is calling for a convention and everyone everywhere is engulfed in reality TV show nonsense. They're controlling the narrative.

As I see it, we are already practicing an informal kind of convention of states. We did it between 2004 and 2015 with same-sex-marriage rights. States learned from each other by example. Now we’re doing similar to reform drug laws, sanctuary cities, and renewable energy, etc.
