I totally understand not showing up for the speech; I totally understand walking out on the speech; I totally understand ripping up the speech. I have those feelings too. But none of those things will help us win in 2020. All of them will turn off voters we need if we’re to win.

Sorry, but no. Being timid or thinking love will solve everything is what got us to this point. I am proud of every instance anyone takes to call out the
’s lies. If you can’t stand for what you believe in what will you fall for? Well, now we know. -
I’m hardly timid. I ran for president, remember? And it’s not like we’ve ever acted as though love would solve much of anything. I never said not to call out the lies. We absolutely must, but we can do that with dignity and without personal insult.
