Sorry, but I’m glad that the majority of Senators respected the constitution and did not allow themselves to be gaslighted into continuing this. Future Presidents from both camps will thank them.

It is the job of the Senate to remove the president from office in cases like this. Republican senators admitted Trump did what he was impeached for but refuse to remove him. THAT is unconstitutional and sets a dangerous precedent for future presidents to do the same
