This day represents the climactic moment in an accumulated pattern of both covert and overt attacks on our democracy. But think of it like Pearl Harbor or 9/11; we didn’t just crumble. Yes, people grieved...but no one doubted that we would respond. As we will respond to this.

Are you referring to the vote in the Senate today? Surely you can’t be serious. Comparing it to 9/11 or Pearl Harbor? Most Americans with any common sense are glad this sham is almost over. Why do Dems always cry foul when they don’t get their way?

I think she's suggesting bloodshed - since that's what happened after 911 & Pearl Harbor. I thought Marianne "Un-Faithful" Williamson was some sort of healing-forgiving-shamanistic-guru-type who knew the lyrics to every Joni Mitchell song, as I do. Surprise-surprise. She's not.

#RepairAmericaMovement “The abolitionists, the suffragettes, the civil rights movement... These changes didn’t come from the government, these changes were initiated by the people. I think of slavery, the Civil War, the Civil Rights movement...never crumbled. Kept moving forward. The arc of history does bend toward justice...so long as we continue to actively and engagedly push forward. It's far from a time for passivity.

I'm trying to summon a spirit of @OpenTheDebates in response to this clusterfuck, Marianne. If enough of us all retweet this slightly-NSFW 'toon, I predict a miracle will happen! the nation shall finally shit-can the Duopoly's beloved @debates scam! Help us to defeat this evil!pic.twitter.com/UXMTgmomP8

It will likely cause more death than 9/11. Definitely more American deaths than 9/11.

is this about the DNC changing debate rules on the fly to let a billionaire vampire on the stage?

The only difference: it wasn’t our own government attacking us.

Not so sure. The firefighters and structural engineers for 9/11 truth would beg to differ. The commission report was a sham.
