Misstep made by progressives over last few decades was surrendering the words “patriotic” and “moral.” Nothing more patriotic than taking a stand for democracy when it’s under attack, and nothing is more moral than to save children, stand for justice, save the earth, wage peace.

Taking a stand for children like, um, being pro-life??
And after they’re born? 13 million hungry children in America, 100,000 homeless children in America, elementary school children on suicide watch…dealing with THAT is “pro-life.”

I love this so much. so many pro lifer's are just anti abortionists. the "love and care" shouldn't end when the child is born, assuming they cared about the fetus to begin with and not just their own sense of right.

I’d rather be poor, hungry and given a choice to conquer the adversities in life than have that choice made for me by being killed before I had a chance.

personally, I would have rather been aborted than my mom giving birth to a disabled baby she was to drunk to take care of, so she had to give it away. choices are made for all kids by their parents dead or alive. the aborted babies aren't special. just my take on it. no hate.

What do you think of UBI being referred to as "the most pro-life policy proposal in decades?" It would prevent hundreds of thousands of economically-driven abortions every year. Paired w/ universal healthcare that includes contraceptives and you also reduce unwanted pregnancies.

It’s not perfect, but definitely a step in the right direction. It still doesn’t address victims of rape-who I believe have the right to choose whether they want to carry that situation to term or not. It is a lot more supportive than the system we currently have, though.
