It’s going to escalate, especially if there r signs from the press corps that these intimidation tactics work (a backing off of tough questions or certain topics). There’s never been a greater need for a full-court press from our 4th Estate—across the board; print & cable.
First they attacked the free press in general terms ("enemy of the people"). Now they've attacked one journalist specifically (note it's a woman).
