What’s the power that would drive the most amazing future? It’s the brain of every kindergartner. One are the most important things for us to do is to stop basing our educational funding on property taxes! We need a massive realignment of investment In every American child.

The best the best way to create a more prosperous economy 15 years from now is to take better care of our 10-year-olds today. Anytime we fail to help any American child reach their full potential, we’re leaving money on the table.

Since the US federalized education in 1979 we have gone from #1 in education to #24 in education. Federal mandates have destroyed literacy in the US. Time to let parents decide how best to teach their kids. End school tax funds and put that money back in the pockets of parents.

The greatest signifier of of kids do well in school is if they come from a two parent household. We can throw as much money after an issue but the real problem is the breakdown of the family unit.

Yes! @marwilliamson --you are spot on. Investment in our children's education, mental, emotional, financial and spiritual will pay in dividends

I agree. You shouldn't use 70% of my property tax to brainwash kids into little commies. 0% is the correct number. Parents should be the ones choosing the type of education they want for their children and pay for it accordingly.

In my experience the best school districts have strong PTOs and tend to be in communities with parents who have time and money to donate to their childs school. Addressing economic issues in communities lacking resources would go a long way.

Those are usually also 2 parent homes, low cost of living areas, and smaller schools.
