2020 will be the year of integrative politics, where we recognize that a change in our hearts is as important as changes in our policy. If we’re serious about wanting to change the world, we must go about changing things on both levels.

Yes! Like 20/20 vision, this will be the turning point where we choose leaders who reflect our highest and best intentions. The paradigm shift can happen quickly and swiftly when we realize the power is within us to change it all.
I wish. People will likely continue to vote on party while holding their nose. They will complain but not be open to change. Perhaps our district will be different. We will know in March.
Take the “they” out of it and replace with “me or I” Then you will see how easy it is to hold space for real change to happen.

Marianne, I respect your courage, spirit, creativity however, our political system needs to function. If it fails and truth is repressed, its ALL HAND ON DECK to save our democracy. As broken as the Democratic party is re: debate qualifications, polls reflect our indiference.
No “yes, but” replies are welcome here. Unless everyone who wants to see the paradigm shift work its magic stops being pessimistic we may never get to the place we all want to go.
