We could solve our material problems; lack of ability to do that’s not the problem. The deepest problem is erosion of our values, a complacency with which we face things as morally horrifying as endless wars, unnecessary suffering & continuation of destruction to people & planet.
Moral leadership the most important thing needed today. It’s not just that we’re having a national nightmare; it’s a problem that we fell asleep to begin with & seem scared to wake up. But the only danger lies in refusing to awaken. The next president should be a moral awakener.
For every problem, America has the people who know what to do & the genius with which to do it. We need to face the uncomfortable fact that govt has become the biggest obstruction to solving our problems because they’re funded by those who create them. We & we alone can fix that.

I don't know if I have that much faith in any one Pres. As we saw with Obama- u can b a great man, with a moral compass, but if u don't hv Congress backing it's useless. Every Pres candidate now needs to speak about blue-ing Congress & especially Supreme Court nominees.
What I think is going to happen is that split minded individuals will be hypnotized by church and state into waiting for a moral unicorn. In the mean time, while the split minds evaluate for their moral perfection the economy will completely collapse.
Literally just read this. My son’s in Kindergarten. He’s safe but it still brings me to tears. It’s a fear I deal with everyday I hope Americans wake up and in the final hour elect you and all of your plans. We need you.

And of course our governments tell us who is moral and immoral, right? ...you know that's exactly why humans are living in a nightmare, because people have been programmed by the church and government to think in terms of segregation; split mindedness.
What we need is to end the split mindedness that has divided the people into waring factions. We can't have the church or the government dictating who has value and who doesn't. Everyone has value despite what the governing institutions want for themselves.
