If you listen to Marianne with an open mind, the possibility of what this country could be with her as president is easy to visualize. That vision is worth any effort to realize.
Millions of people who voted for Trump are disturbed by his behavior now. If we campaign in 2020 simply raging at Trump, we are scolding those people, making them wrong. The way to win in 2020 is not by fighting what is, but by inspiring and invoking what could be.

I agree. Transforming anger is easy (for me) with millions of trump voters who are disturbed, less easy toward those who continue derailment of democracy & continued oppression of poor & working class people. But I completely agree w/u. Let anger become the phenomenon Espíritu.

You're right, Lana. Trump's got a 90% approval rating among Republicans, same as when he took office. I agree with not scolding, though. It doesn't work and Democrats have plenty to answer for as well.
