What concerns me is that people in our society today do not feel safe enough inside their own souls to truly care about other people.

I want to rediscover freedom. I do not want to be under the bondage of a majority. In your plan, can the majority impose their will, or imprison, me on the basis of belief?

You lack the basic understanding of the U.S. form of government. It is a Republic ("if you can keep it"- Ben Franklin). Rule of Law over "votes". That's why there is no "right to vote". The States allow citizens to vote in Federal elections (The "Franchise"-- License).

Marianne, you are so right. Keep using your voice of peace, of reason, of kindness and of light. You are the truth and one day, my hope is that the world will collectively teach its children to stop judging, stop manipulating and use our generosity to help others.

You fail to comprehend that science is a pillar of our country. Your thinking is not high enough.

Democracy is a joke in a country of 300 + million with only two viable political parties. I remember how Obama never said the word "poverty" once in his first term, as the poverty rate skyrocketed. Tens of millions of poor, sick and marginalized, who will never have a voice.
