Buttigieg's plan does the same thing, which might bring about universal coverage but it does nothing to improve efficiency. Doctors still fill out insurance claims & govt. still has to means test everyone. Plus, M4A allows for supplemental insurance for anything not covered.

What am I missing? Do doctors not have to continue to fill out insurance forms for the myriad private & public options under your plan? That's part of why our system is so costly & inefficient and why single-payer brings those costs down.
