And another point is that your plan focuses heavily on preventative care and the point of it is HEALTH. Per your focus on humanitarian bottom line, this is about more than just $. And with the non-profits and the focus on making sure their $ is spent on care, this seems holistic.

Any health plan can feature preventative care; the framework is what we're debating. I agree with Williamson's ban on factory farming & subsidizing fitness memberships. That's not the issue here.

FYI, I appreciate the responses and as I've said before, I think your plan is well-intentioned as opposed to others that reek of corporate influence. It's just that my goal is free, equal, comprehensive coverage that lowers overall costs & I believe M4A does that much better.

Under M4A, every single care provider in the country is available to me, for free, and I can purchase supplemental insurance for whatever new treatment isn't yet covered. How is your plan an improvement?

Her plan is politically feasible and it can actually pass THAT'S the improvement. obviously single payer is the gold standard but it could take two terms to get it done and then there's a four year transition period once it's implemented you're looking at single payer in 2032

Also "millionaires shouldn't be subsidized" is the exact same argument made against free public university. If we have fair & progressive tax rates, we can offer free & universal coverage that allows every aspect of society to benefit, creating political strength.
