If you're single & earn $50,000 a year, under your plan: What would your monthly premiums be? What would your copays be? What would your deductibles be? What would your out-of-pocket drug costs be? How about at $500,000 a year? $25,000? $0? Why isn't any of this on the plan?
That depends on which plan a person chooses. The simplicity you want - which I understand - also presents inflexibility in terms of treatment. This way, no matter what you earn you can afford it (sliding scale; govt subsidizes every option). Universal coverage exists with this.

Buttigieg's plan does the same thing, which might bring about universal coverage but it does nothing to improve efficiency. Doctors still fill out insurance claims & govt. still has to means test everyone. Plus, M4A allows for supplemental insurance for anything not covered.

Again, I don't want a "plan." I want care. We already have plans under the ACA and costs have only increased. Subsides may lower individual costs but not overall costs, which will then require additional tax increases for an unnecessary system.
