I think I want to serve there soon. You’ve really influenced me and where my gifts can be best applied to spread love and contribute to the healing of this world.
We’re already in the habit of saying “Thank you for your service” when we meet military personnel. We should also say “Thank you for your service” every time we meet a public school teacher.

Not all military personnel go to war and if you see some of the places some of these teachers have to work unarmed , they’re exposed the same danger.

Wow!! I said this to a teacher last week!! I said, "I know that this saying is usually reserved for people in the military, but thank you for your service to the community." It really made her day!!

You’re welcome! I like that. Just bought a coat for a student who’s family apartment was on fire this week. Teachers do full service not just in classrooms. We want to do it because our of instinct.
