But spirituality is not religion; it’s simply the path of the heart. The Founders weren’t seeking to suppress the spiritual life of the nation. Rather, they were seeking to protect it! Any path that deviates from the path of the heart, whether private or public, is dysfunctional

For 40 years all ethical and moral considerations were left out of public policy discussions, paving a way for unnecessary suffering of millions of people both here and abroad. Spiritual voices are exactly the ones who should now rise up & say, “No more!”http://Marianne2020.com

So you don’t call the First Amendment part of the Constitution...?

That's not in the Constitution. Read it. Separation of Church and state is a 1947 SCOTUS opinion.

False. Most states had laws that prohibited atheists from doing things like holding office. These laws were changed by legislative means, but are not unconstitutional.
-
Yes it’s unconstitutional. They “made a law“ that interfered with “free expression“ of someone’s religion. You can say it doesn’t apply because it’s a “state“ law, but it still is “unconstitutional“ – as in Not aligned with the constitution of the United States.
