The undue influence of money on our political system is the cancer underlying all the other cancers. Given the current make-up of the Supreme Court, we will not be able to overturn Citizens United anytime soon. But we can pass legislation to establish public funding of campaigns.

Just look at how they co-opt her messaging into their rallies. Authenticity can not be duplicated or faked.

You’re assuming “money” is the problem when it is only the symptom. The root cause is human greed. Public funding merely increases the potential for government corruption. I don’t want politicians and unelected bureaucrats influencing what candidates get funds and how much.

That was my first thought too. There needs to be some kind of balance and protection from (blatantly obvious) corruption methods.
