YES! I love the Public Banking concept - that communities can choose where their banks invest (no more of our funding goes to dirty energy or private prisons......)
I’m all in for Public Banking - bravo to those in California who are making it happen there. Recent interest in Public Banking is a healthy sign; pushing back against usurious practices on the part of banks has been an important corrective measure through our history. #bigtruth

I lived and worked in Japan for two years. The public option for banking provided many with peace of mind from corporate incentive systems. It's also conveniently attached to the post office. In contrast US retail banks, they "send me to a banker" to open accounts for w/e, etc.

A banking
with less interest on loans, or loans with share in profit only, is going to be a huge achievement for humanity. -
If a bank
gives out loans where borrower has to pay original amount but no interest but only a share in profit, then that bank will truly serve humanity.
Thus, even if he or she faces a loss in business but has to pay only a share of profit if business succeeds.

I will read about public banking. I kept erasing note for date & spelling,, lol This is different but still reminds me of the expropriation of banks in Mexico in 1982. Banks became a total mess for public, for good companies, for employees & of course for the owners @ that time.
