Higher academic standards & great childhoods are not mutually exclusive. Our son: reading & writing b4 age 3 b/c we paid for early private education that also provided fun, play, rest, love etc.! Now 10, he's excelling @ 5th grade in public school and we encourage him 2 thrive!
