You see that it is not "the issue" itself, but it's US. If we don't start taking care of the people, eliminating ignorance and poverty, the revolt and abuse on both ends of the spectrum will continue to fester. We must be people centered in every aspect of politics. You get it.

The DNC must bring to the voting polls their “true base”, people not motivated to vote because they see no gain. These are the poor and disenfranchised, the 99%. Otherwise expect Trump or another like him in the future.
