Thank you, @marwilliamson, for pointing out that the DNC is a private org and not part of the structure of our actual democracy. We don’t need to abide by its dicta. Or the RNC’s for that matter.

Marianne, be Gillibrand. Keep up the good fight for the things you believe in, while graciously acknowledging a loss. The process is meant to eliminate contenders. The rules may not seem fair but the rules have not changed. You still have a platform. Use it. Use it well.
