I love all the comments from people not reading the title. "allowing 17 year olds to vote in primary elections...if they turn 18 before the following general". Is this seriously an issue?

Newborns have much more at stake than 17 yr olds. They are fighting for their lives. 17 yr olds just want to get laid.

Children all over the USA can be automatically charged as adults in the criminal justice system. If a child is deemed mature enough to appreciate the consequences of her actions and, thus, charged & prosecuted as an adult, certainly she should be deemed mature enough to vote!

The human brain arguably doesn't fully mature until 26 years old. Lowering the voting age to include those fully indoctrinated by leftist public educator groupthink is literally nothing at all other than a play for more guaranteed votes in favor of a more Communist America.
