So let’s state it again. I’m pro medicine. I’m pro science. I’ve never told anyone not to take medicine. I’ve never fat-shamed anyone. And today there’s a new one: no I don’t support Scientology. The machinery of mischaracterization is in high gear now. Gee, did I upset someone?

It's not about telling people that they can't have private insurance. It's about eliminating an industry that is dedicated to creating profit through suffering, and which, if allowed to exist, will fight tooth-and-nail to undermine and destroy healthcare as a human right.

I'm a person who HAD really good private insurance and is now on a State insurance. 1. The quality of CARE MUST be equal. 2. We must change the PERCEPTION that those on universal coverage are less productive/lazy. 3. Reimbursement must be same for both options. 4. Equality issue

To be honest, my state insurance and Medicare is better than my Obamacare was. Thst has been my personal experience. My residence is in Michigan.

I live in Canada, pay nothing for drs visits, emerge visits, ultrasounds, ect.. and we also have private insurance that helps with prescriptions costs and holistic therapies like accupuncture, nutritional health and other extra costs. It can and should be done in the US.

Private insurance means for profit, for profit meansa focus on profit not health.

1. Then you don’t understand the issue. My husband is disabled and has both Medicare and my employer provided private insurance. The quality of care he gets from my insurance is better than Medicare’s, but it still keeps us in poverty.

2. If there was no private insurance and everyone had Medicare, then there wouldn’t be doctors and hospitals that wouldn’t accept it and everyone would have equal care.

They can have private supplemental insurance so things like acupuncture, chiropractors, holistic medicine wouldn’t be covered under Medicare 4 All so that would be three private insurance market, the point is healthcare should not be driven mostly by a profit incentive
