If you did the math of the 40 acres and a mule, given that there was 4 to 5 million slaves at the end of the Civil War, and they were all promised 40 acres and a mule for every family of four, if you did the math today, it would be trillions of dollars. #Reparations #BigTruth

I'm curious is this the reason why we're still vexed with racism in USA? The debt was never paid. US settled & paid reparations to Natives and to Jews? But for some reason the debt was never paid to slaves nor their descendants. We can't heal from something we deny is real.

What’s worse is that reparations were paid to my ancestors slave HOLDERS $300 per slave lost and not us. I was told Abe Lincoln agreed to the 40 acres and a mule, but after he was killed, Andrew Johnson overturned this agreement.
