I am not a cult leader. I am not anti-science (that one is almost funny, given how much I quote Einstein). And I am not an anti-vaxxer. Hoping that if I repeat it 3 to 4 times a day I might penetrate the field of lies created to keep some people out of the conversation.

Thank you for clarifying AGAIN!! Yesterday I saw The Hill, the Daily beast, and Yahoo were misrepresenting Marianne’s position on science. While she’s busy campaigning, we can post on these site and notify the readers that they’re being misinformed. Good luck everyone.

No, she's playing a bait & switch with her words. Vaccine safety is distinct from opiod safety which is further distinct from unethical opiod sales and over-prescription. Vaccines have been tested & are much safer than diseases, period. MW's words games are anti-vax apologetics.

"...assume they're a paragon of pure intention?" That's a straw man argument. And straw man arguments don't make a good case for trusting a candidate. But OK, Marianne, I'll bite. How was Jonas Salk, to take one example, guilty of nefarious intent by inventing the polio vaccine?
-
Jonas Salk was a great scientist. The polio vaccine did and does save lives. The current controversy about vaccines is not about their inherent value. It’s about the rise in chronic illnesses (from 12% to 54%) among American children since the “Vaccine Protection Law” in 1986.

The reason those execs are in trouble is because they ignored the science, and refused to conduct further research, in order to promote their product. By contrast, vaccines are one of the most-studied health developments in the world, with endless meta-analyses behind them.
-
The fact that you conflate the two suggests that you’re not looking at the evidence; you’re looking at the players. Anyone in a lab coat is the same guy. That’s not how I want my president to think. I want my president to be much more discerning and informed.

The problem seems to be that some people don’t understand that being Pro-vaxx and pro-science is NOT mutually exclusive with also being pro-responsibility on the part of Big Pharma. We need vaccines AND control measures & the right to question what we are putting into our bodies.

Do you think the scientific consensus on vaccines is based on the assumption that “Big Pharma” is a paragon of virtue? You continue to reveal your ignorance
