In 1947, Harry S. Truman's commission on higher education issued a report that made strong recommendations for how to reform higher education. It also made a case for why. This is *really* important. The reason that the report recommended making two years of higher education available to all Americans was because doing this would be an investment in the American brain trust and in American productivity. It has economic implications.

I can say that Americans will have to give up their 2000 sq ft houses for a more modest 500 sq ft apartment like in Denmark . They ALL pay 50% in income tax, $6 gallon gas, carbon tax, and sales tax of 20%. Why don’t you tell Americans this upfront and honestly?
