Marianne -- why not come out in favor of my global wealth tax proposal? Designing an n%/yr. global wealth tax so the taxed need only pay (n/3)%/yr. if they pay with bank loans would be the most profitable event in the history of banking. ERGO, bank lobby would insist on tax.
